Bold identity and promotional concept for a festival dives into the backstage world of stand-up - where jokes are scribbled on napkins and truth hides between punchlines.  Inspired by the raw honesty and true elegance of famous Netflix TV-show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, this project captures comedy not just as entertainment, but as survival and soul.

LMAO Comedy Festival is a branding project for a bold, emotionally rich comedy festival that sees laughter as more than entertainment — it’s a form of truth-telling, healing, and resistance. Designed for an audience that craves substance with their satire, the festival features stand-up, storytelling, and intimate Q&A sessions that explore everything from politics to personal pain.
Inspired by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the quiet power of late-night conversations, the concept imagines comedians not just on stage, but gathered in classic American diners — swapping stories over black coffee, scribbling punchlines on napkins, and turning heartbreak into humor. These diners become safe spaces and pressure valves — places where laughter simmers beneath the surface of real life.
The visual identity draws from mid-century Americana: neon signs, checkered floors, and handwritten menus layered with expressive typography and storytelling-driven layouts. It’s nostalgic, raw, and deeply human — just like the comedy it represents.
